Decorated Rafale

Yann, could you tell me what you think that the main subject is on those Rafale images?

A Rafale in a livery for exhibition flights IMO signifies that the livery is NOT accessory to the image of such Rafale, and the livery is certainly NOT blending into a general scene, as the COM:DM France text ("fondait dans l’ensemble architectural de la place des Terreaux dont elle constituait un simple élément, la cour d’appel en a exactement déduit qu’une telle présentation de l’oeuvre litigieuse était accessoire au sujet traité,") hints to. On File:Airpower on Display at Paris Airshow 2025 (9124123).jpg for instance, you cannot very well argue that the main subject is a Rafale that just oh-so-happens to carry an artistic representation of the Tricolore. It's perhaps more the opposite, the Rafale is accessory as canvas for the paintwork... And the plane is certainly not blending into an overall scene (imaginable maybe on a flight line with several planes lined up, or during an elephant walk), but clearly a centrepiece and main motif. I think that the UNDEL request was misleading and your restauration not sensible. Could you eventually reconsider?

Hi, At the very least, the livery is unavoidable, which is one of the argument of the court. On no, the main object is the Rafale, not the livery. People go to this show to see planes, not paintings. Yann (talk) 17:35, 26 November 2025 (UTC)

Bah oui, je me souviens très bien de la longue demande de suppression – et du nombre de tickets, des courriels et de nerfs qu'il a fallu pour obtenir toutes les autorisations. J'espère que c'était la dernière et tu comprendras que je ne demanderai pas d'autres photos au voilier. ;-)

Suppression, l'article et photo du COT

Je ne comprends pas pourquoi vous avez effacé l'article et une photo du COT (Club Olympique Tuchan-Paziols), champion de France de 2eme série, une photo de Club qui a été restauré par moi-même. Peut-être faites-vous partie du club AC Bobigny qui a perdu le bouclier ..

Image Restored

Hello Yann, an image of Knowa De Baraso was deleted as the right permission weren’t included. Two days ago or so the photographer emailed the VRT with the release form. When will we as editors be able to restore the image? Mrwonders2 (talk) 20:42, 3 December 2025 (UTC)
